Throughout the past few years, I’ve used ceramics as a means to discover work that questions familiar environments and feelings. Recurring themes within my work are reflection, social and environmental interaction and the reinterpretation of commonly used space and objects. I have become particularly interested in the process of making a coil pot, making a mould from this and then casting multiple replicas, in many ways I think this process can act as a metaphor for other concepts within my work.
